The weather was clear and sunny so we figured, we might as well hit. With the warm temperatures, we we're hoping to hit some corn skiing.Took the regular route up the glacier. We immediately got hammered by the winds.Full gusting winds. We dropped the shoes and carried on to the ridge. We put on the crampons for the hike up.Too firm for skiing at this point. The sun was hitting the slope started to soften up a bit.We took our first run and immediately hit the firm boiler plate conditions. For the next lap my brother recommend we set up some giant slalom gates on the glacier.Just like Mark Giradelli used to do in the 90's.We could get some good race training in. We skinned the next couple laps. A little slipping and sliding. We still had fun and enjoyed the views.
Next time I will bring my hockey skates!

Good old Canadian boys should be more comfortable in hockey skates,eh?

Maybe some snowlerbades would have been even better.
