Another Muir report...
Andy and I left the parking lot about 10 under perfect hiking conditions. The temp was upper 30s, low 40s with clouds in the face. The sun appeared about 7,000 or so. Drop spot at about 8,900, about half way or less up the upper Muir snow field. The first few hundred feet were hard packed, somewhat carvable, and super fast. The remainder was soft, continuous corn to just above Pebble Creek. Clouds were up to 7,200 and on the lower snowfield by the time we came down. Back to the car by 4.
All and all, a great day and company for my 24 month TAY!
PS - I have plenty of pics but when I attempt to post (multiple tries) I get this error: "Sorry! There is already an attachment with the same filename as the one you tried to upload. Please rename the file and try again." Any tips?

Rename the file to something different and try again. It's occasionally annoying, but it's also an opportunity for creativity (or keyboard smashing).
