Sweet windbuff :)/ice :(/sweet windbuff :)/ice :(/sweet windbuff :)/ice :(.
As mentioned elsewhere, skinnable snow starts just above Pebble Creek. Well worth the trip.

same conditions on Inter Glacier yesterday. we stopped around 8200' because the snow became a bit more variable. looked like some pretty nice snow around 9500' and above though. the crevasse separations also appeared pretty wide for crossing so we were content with the lower half of the IG. skied surprisingly well- edgeable windbuff on top of ice and/or crust. Snoslut should have some pics up soon.
Nice work Snowslut. Inspired choice for an early season tour. :)
Rockin' pictures, Eric.
yeah Eric...
for me the gods rearrange the windbuff so that it always lay before me. they know my hotness will not tollerate ice patches: not smooth and silky enough. where this lord helgi travels, powder reins. why my homeland was just blessed with 50+ inches. see: http://www.redlodgemountain.com/content.asp?section=ext&page=webcam&season=winter&head=cam
