Went for some laps on Heliotrope on Tuesday. The new snow from the preceding week had pretty much all vanished so I was back on the older snow surface. A little firm, but still decent to great snow.

I found this beer in one of the final stream crossings before ascending to the moraines. I was the only car in the lot, saw no one at the camps, and had a fierce thirst so I repossessed it. If it was yours I will gladly replace it at the watering hole of your choosing.

Welcome to TAY! Looks mighty good.

And it's even a good beer!  So if there was a cold beer in the stream and $100 bill right next to it, but you could only choose one, which would it have been?

Nice pics too by the way.

Thanks! Just moved to Seattle from Utah's Great Salt Desert.

I think the great beer waiting for you was the northwest's way of saying- "welcome to the hood!"

Welcome to the hood, and enjoy the plentiful snowpack!

Chris

Great pictures - thanks!

Nice photos.  Were all the tracks in the first pic. yours?
