Late start today due to the Tour of France finish, so skied the Flett and not the Flett and Russel today.  Did it all in quick step (for me) in 5 1/2 hours RT car to car via the standard trail.  Booted up all the way and skied down to about 5k.  Sun, sun, sun, nice temps and good snow for the most part.

side note- the road is open, but don't think about a dip in the lake just yet.
Thanks for the beta TonyM.

Is that a blue Cat-Eye Lake I see below the headwall? It's seems like its been brown silt for years.

Hi Scott-  that neat little lake looked kinda muddy turquoise down lower.  It's nice sight from that vantage point for sure.

Did you go over Knapsack Pass or summer trail? The headwall looks pretty rough.

Took the summer trail-  very fast with little snow.  The headwall itself was actually fairly smooth (see pic looking across the top) down to the near the bottom.  Had to ski around some sun cups down low, but it's late season and I'd say the top bit was nice for this time of year.
