Did not bring skis, but sort of wished I had. It was lots of fun in any case, but with nearly continuous snow from the moment we rounded the corner to the basin below Headlee Pass (just one short carry would have been required at the Pass), and will decent afternoon softening, the skis would have been handy! It was bumpy, hard, steep, and narrow just below the pass but I would still have rather been on my skis than slowly picking my way down with the axe and crampons. I'm sure it won't be as nice for long, but I'm posting this in case any fortunate mid-week skiers want to give it a shot.
