There's still some decent sections to be skiied. I was thinkin' I'll share some info about Lassen. Mt. Lassen or properly called Lassen Pk. is part of Lassen Volcanic Nat'l. Park. The summit is 10,500' with the TH elevation at 8,500'. It takes a bit less than 2 hrs to get to the chutes area.
Lassen last erupted in May of 1915. I was thinkin' about St. Helen's and it erupted in May as well -- that's a coincidence. The mountain is host to a flower (endemic - only found), near the summit area.  It has a tricky name and is found in a bunch, and is off-white in color !
Turns on Lassen are usually decent through July. The snow is best when it doesn't freeze. If it does freeze, the turns will be better after 12pm.    *  I'd like to share some pics, so I'll work on going dig. next summer.
