Weather clearing as we got closer to Glacier Basin, just as expected in the rainshadow of the Mountain. Unfortunately Mother Nature had other ideas as she swept low clouds over St Elmo's Pass. We tired of skiing up in fog and 100% humidity at about 8500'. Nice quick ski down to the basin at 6000' on 2'' of slush over a firm base. Trail into Glacier Basin has been rerouted in several places after this winter's damage, much clearing and trail maintenance has been done recently to improve the route considerably since Spring. Drizzling on the hike out from the Basin.
