On Tuesday my son and I went to Chinook and did some skiing. Unfortunately, at lunch I left my beloved Patagonia ball cap that I've had for 15+ years sitting on a rock. Because of its sentimental value I decided to go search for it on Friday--confident that I knew where it was at...
I only thought I knew where it was at. Though sad about my lost brim, I still had a wonderful day skiing. Climbed to the 6200 point due south of Naches then skied down the corniced ridge and jumped into the bowl. Fantastic corn on Friday.
Afterwards I climbed the northwest ridge of Naches and skied all the way back to the car.
Bravo and props for putting the time in on a lost lid. A sentimental hat blew off my head while driving I-5 back from Seattle. The next day I used an excuse to see a friend to also look for it on the side of 5. I'm sorry it didn't turn out, but nice lookin' turns! Worth the travel.
