Interglacier...again « on: 06/28/08, 11:50 PM » Outstanding corn up there today, top to bottom. A cool breeze kept things from getting sloppy. In many places, you could pick up a handful of "snow" and it looked like a mass of small pebbles. Bootpacking appeared to be MUCH faster than skinning, so that's what I did. There are far more crevasses visible than two weeks ago, including one long one with a glissade track going right over it! Great day. Snout was the best I've skied - perrrfect corn on hardpack.
