The snow at Colchuck Glacier was in fantastic shape this weekend. The hike in is long and challenging but the skiing is great with soft corn snow and beautiful terrain. As you come down the face there are two ways to go. I'd suggest camping on the SE corner of Colchuck lake so you can take skiers right down the run and end up at your tent. Otherwise you'll have to bushwhack and bolder across to get to the SW part of the lake where most of the camp spots are. Skiers right also gives you a much longer run. Also- Aasgard Pass is almost completely melted out. See photo. The snow is melting very fast up here. Cheers- Marc
