Needed a day break after Thursdays assault. Went up Saturday to find it 5 degrees at the summit. No kidding I had ice hanging from my nose and face after the first few runs. Anyway from the parking lot we had scoped an untouched area of fresh in Eagles Nest. Wuz soft, fluffy, knee deep and only a few people hitting it. Well I milked that for rest of the day.

Sunday the temps really warmed and consolidated everything. Arrived there early and got first chair with another boarder and made a dash for opening of chair 6. Going up the chair I wuz suprised to find all the lines that had been taken by patrol but there wuz plenty around. Ended up doing 8 laps off in Cambell Basin. On my last lap it wuz pretty tracked out. Snow wuz lot thicker but still soft and fresh in some places. Overall one of the best openings I have had. Really looking forward to what dumps this week.
