Headed up to Alpental from Seattle at 11am. Rain til the pas, then lightly snowing. Headed up through exposed shrubs and rocks into some of the upper bowls. The coverage is decent, but you gotta watch out for rocks and creeks.
The snow was extremely heavy. I didn't dig any pits or do stability tests. Defintitely need some more snow before you can ski with ease up there.
