Decided to stay closer to home on Sunday. With the nice weather I was looking forward to the views in addition the skiing since I usually hit this area on stormy days.
I could skin up from the car to the summer trailhead with only two short carries. I booted from there. The snow was slurpee consistency, but a fun day of hiking and skiing. Sure beat doing yardwork...
I was solo, so no action shots.

Wow, I really need to ski Jefferson.
Oh yah.... Iron Mt.-- WAY TO GO... might have to check that one out too! Nice picks!!!!!!!! BTW I believe one of the Skoogs skied the W. Rib on Jeff bunch of years back...I have the Coulior Mag with the story I believe--sort on my list too......
Nice Work - I was wondering how the coverage was holding up at Tombstone. We had a blast riding pow up there this year. What an epic winter, still able to make good turns at that elevation in June! Hopefully we'll see you up there next year!
