Having spent a wonderful day gorging ourselves on a slushy saturday at Chinook pass. We decided that some tame corn skiing was in order. Reading Joe's and Amar reports and lusting for some sun we headed to Silver basin North facing aspects. We were rewarded big time with corn, sun and a dog named Mango. I'm not too familiar with the names back there but we skied what I believed to be Gunbarrel and a slope west of that. Mango, a husky seemed to know where we were going before we did . We thought he/ she was only there for snacks but that dog  straightlined that chute at warp speed! We had a fun day and found enough pirate booty under "quicksilver"  chair to lessen our carbon ski print! thanks Joe for your report from the couch .
Good corn snow starting 100 yds from the bullwheel with maybe 2  10'
carries.further up. Silver basin lots left . Chinook to Crystal or vice versa  very doable.
