Sorry for the vague location, but the fellow who fed us road conditions and offered up his cabin asked us not to share it with the world.  Suffice to say it's one of many great tours east of WA Pass.

Continuous snow began at around 5,000 in the east facing approach valley, with minor shenanigans between there and 5,500 on east and northeast slopes.  From there to 8,000 was fine spring corn, even at 2 p.m. with temps in the 50s.  2-3" ski penetration at most, with small runnels and suncups beginning to form.  It's melting fast -- the 90 degree weekend did its job, with 60 year highs in some of the rivers around Winthrop.
