All year round skiing in the Washington Cascades: Year-round skiing is possible in the Cascade Mountains of Washington and Oregon because of the typically deep winter snows and long cool springs. All photos are from backcountry skiing trips throughout the year to places such as Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Crystal Mountain, and Snoqualmie Pass, and have not been published here before. The photos have images of both randonee (alpine) and telemark skiing. |
