Posts Not Showing UP

Thanks Matt and Marcus, TAY posting seems back to normal for me, and hopefully everyone. Now all we need is some fresh snow to report.

The problem has returned for me. This time loggin out gave me the following message, basically I could not log out. Had to quit, delete all cookies and cache, then log in again. Problem not solved. Now I am trying from Firefox.

So I was recently COMPLETELY shut down, couldn't do anything other than create new posts, and only then on my iPhone. Couldn't even logout. Turns out the cookies went bad, deleting them on my desktop at least restored full functionality.

Ok, things are at least working better for me. iOs is still a problem, but clearing cookies in FF on a Windows 8 desktop worked. Hopefully it lasts.

Thanks for the continued reports, all.  Trying to figure this out.  It's all related to a (required) back-end software upgrade.  Other solutions are in the works, eventually.

Glad it worked for you alpy - it's hit or miss still, but hopefully we'll get it straightened out for good soon.

Major trouble posting anything: deleting cookies, several logout and login steps and still posting and replying does not work for me.
I have stopped trying to attach pictures.

It might be worth to consider a one time online fundraiser to cover the expenses of upgrading.
I would be happy to contribute.

The other option for me is to become a lurker around here: sucking up info without giving back.

EDIT: whoa, it worked. I not only cleared my cached data and cookies in Chrome, but physically deleted the files they're stored in on my machine.

Just pushed out a potential fix for the problem. Those who have been regularly experience issues here--could you try posting and let me know if the problem persists? If it does, can you try clearing cookies one last time and let me know if it still happens? Thanks!

Edit to add: yes, it did! Very nice - I was pretty much hosed with brief exceptions, on IE 11 on Windows 8.1, as well as on Chrome on the same system. So this is encouraging!!

This is a different type of bug, but I'd consider it a bug nevertheless.

I posted a thread last night. I have two different versions of the photos, one 800 pixels wide and one 1280 pixels wide. The intention was to include 800 pixel-wide shots but initially I accidentally made three of them 1280 pixel-wide shots. I edited the post after the fact. But now the source generated by the software indicates that these three images, which should be 800 pixels wide, are 1000 pixels wide in the html image element. So the photos display larger than they should and it looks funny.

Sky, any pictures of skiing would look pretty funny to this crew up here this winter...
